I bought this for my wife. Looking at the pictures, I really liked the eggplant colored one, then discovered that North Face calls that color "brown", which is mildly confusing. I bought it anyway and the actual color of it, to my eyes, was "mostly eggplant with a golden-brownish tint to it". And it's beautiful. My wife says, "I use this for both casual wear and running in the winter. I love the color. It fits me well; it has long sleeves, is just long enough in the torso, not especially tight or loose, and the cut of the neck is comfortable and looks great. The fabric is very soft. I've been machine washing and drying it (am I supposed to be doing that?) and that seems to be just fine. Would recommend."

I am usually a small or medium in tops and I ordered this in a medium as that color was on sale. I was disappointed when the top arrived as the fabric had already shown signs of starting to pill up. The fleece on the inside looked as if it was worn and there was hair on the inside. It did still have a vendor tag on it. Fit wise, I am 36b, 135 lbs 5'5. It was a slim fit without being tight. It was a little longer in the back. The arms were plenty long and thumb holes were comfortable. I liked the side zip. I returned this before trying it out but the durability didn't seem that great given the condition of the top that I received.
