- Q & A
Lighter Version of the L2
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
The Borod is a lightweight micro grid pullover that is great for hiking on a cold day, skiing as a light mid-layer, or climbing. It is basically a lightweight version of the L2 or Patagonia's R1. It works by trapping body heat in the micro grids.
The fit is trim with room for a next to skin baselayer underneath, but true to size. I found it to be very warm for its weight and comfortable.
This top is also great for ladies with long arms. The sleeves were a tad long on my arms, but I'm 5'4" and don't have very long arms.
I really like this top as an everyday activewear top and as a light midlayer. I wear this under my The North Face Purist and Fuse Brigandine shells with a light baselayer in 25-40 degree weather, depending on the wind chill.
I definitely recommend it. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me at 801-204-4562 or email@example.com
