    Awesome pant! Runs big!!

    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 32
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 179lbs

Super great pant! Wore them for about 9 days in Nepal hiking through the Himalayas and they still look brand new. Comfortable and breathable! The synch at the bottom is my favorite feature.

    Wow!

    • Size Bought: 34
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 220lbs

I really like these! Wearing them to the office right now, they look great with a polo or button up. Very comfortable! They are a bit higher, designed to be that way since they are rock pants, so you're going to be seeing your ankle. Which is pretty much in line with modern pant styles right now anyway. I usually wear 36 but I bought 34s and they fit perfect. Also the band is stretchy incase I gain a few....

Overall - Ill probably be buying more in different colors

A bit on the short side

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 148lbs

The material on the pants are great. Durable and plenty of stretch for climbing. They are also light weight so you don't feel super bogged down with material on your legs.

I'd say the hip size is true to size but the pant length is short giving them a bit of an awkward look.

    Not a fan

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 30
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 147lbs

    Pros- super comfy pants.
Cons- waist band is way too stretchy for me. The size fits true, but I’d need to go down like 2 inches in waist size for them to feel secure. Also, the DWR doesn’t do a whole lot. They sop up water like most other normal pants you’ll buy.

    Great technical climbing pant

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large

These pants are packed with features, but still have a great casual look. They do seem to run a bit large, and next time will size down one to two sizes. Also love the floral print on the inside cuffs of the pants!

    North Face Making a Comeback

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 32/long
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 175lbs

If you haven't noticed North Face is stepping up their game again this season and the beyond the wall and summit series are bringing northface back to the forefront of the industry. These pants are no exception. They stretch into infinity and the waist feels like a comfy pair of sweat pants. The loop for a chalk bag, brush pocket and ankle closure systems are great additions to make these incredibly comfortable pants even better. They are also well articulated so they tend to move with you rather than resist you. I will caution you that you should size down these pants! I normally wear a 34 and sized down to a 32 after reading some reviews and they work like a charm.

    seem good

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Size Bought: 30/reg
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 155lbs

These seem pretty good so far. Super lightweight, stretchy, and breathable. I like the feel of them too- soft like a cotton material. My two gripes are the length and the fit. They really are not all that slim or tapered and the regular seems just a tad too short for me (normally a 30-31 inseam). They hit right above my ankle, giving a flood pant sort of look. If they were more tapered, that wouldn't bother me. Waist is elastic and fits well.
