Basin 36 FTW

I have all of my necessities for travel, as well as work accommodation in one spot safely on my back. The Basin 36 is durable, straps tightly, and best of all it will not break your bank! The additional pockets on the hip straps are even more clutch! Thanks NF!

Good bag, but not very durable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the shape/fit of this pack and the features are very minimal and nice for longer day hikes/car camping trips. I was a bit disappointed by the durability of the straps, as I've only had this for a month and the straps are already visibly wearing out from just using this a couple times a week for hikes and walks. The pockets are deep but are extremely difficult to access your belongings in the pack no matter how you pack it as straps don't allow you to open the bag like a clamshell which is a shame because there are not many pockets/compartments in this design. I don't think I would purchase this again, but it is working for it's intended use right now.

Close but...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks good, comparing it to the recon laptop backpack.... Im going to stick with my 4 year old recon. I found the basin to have too small of a width for my needs. The nylon straps were also very small/thin which I can see being problematic in the future when it comes it repairs. To be honest, if you guys had a larger recon bag, I would buy it immediately. I'm working with the 30 L Recon bag And I have added extra tactical gear for more carrying capacity. I have a small 12" wide tactical style bag attached to the bottom and a tactical strap add-on with 2 pockets on each of the straps, a couple other custom holsters/sheaths... My ideal bag would be all terrain highly durable waterproof closer to the design of the Recon laptop backpack. If it came in some variations of sitka camouflage... That would be ideal, just saying.

Easy and Awesome
