Super cute & comfy street sandal

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've had these for a couple of months, and I've been wearing them a lot--walking to work, to rowing practice, even on a mini hike in the East Bay hills.

Pros: cushy footbed, very comfortable for hours of walking. Also they're super cute and I get lots of compliments on them.

Cons: I've found that the straps stretch out a bit over time and there's not enough ability to adjust them. I have gotten them wet several times (occupational hazard of rowing), and that seems to stretch the straps even more, but I guess they're suede so I should have known. I guess they're more street/fashion shoes than versatile summer sandals that I can wear into the ground. Also, the buckle is finicky and it's often easier to just slip them on and off. Also, they may have been built incorrectly as the fuzzy side of the suede strap faces out on half of the straps and faces in on the other half. But that doesn't affect comfort/wearability so I'm not too fussed.

TL;DR: I was hoping for a shoe that I could wear for everything all summer long, and they don't quite fit that niche, but I love the design and they are incredibly comfy. I'm a 9.5; got a 9, and I'd say they run true to size.
