    Great Tent

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I used this tent for a night in Moab Utah in the spring just to test it out. Obviously those conditions don't need a burly four season tent, so I was most impressed by its ease to set up and how cool it looks. Lots of zippable windows made it easy to get airflow in the tent. The moon was full and quite bright, so I actually zipped those up overnight and to my surprise, didn't have any condensation or stuffiness on the inside overnight.

    Great 4-Season Tent for Backpacking

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This tent held up through several inches of snow and stayed warm and cozy without too much condensation on the inside. My one criticism is that the poles have sleeves which causes difficulty setting it up and taking the tent down. Overall bomber tent!

    Unanswered Question

What does this tent (north face alpine guide 2 four season 2 person) look like under the vestibule? Where are the doors located, front and side or just both sides? How does it hold up in the rain and how’s the ventilation? I can’t find any reviews anywhere.
