The North Face's first Aconcagua already impressed us with lofty warmth worthy of yurt trips and winter walks through ski towns at night. Now back with even greater protection, the Men's Aconcagua 2 Hooded Jacket brings windproofing into the equation so you can stay our when the winds pick up. It still has the lofty down insulation mixed with synthetic insulation in key areas that would usually get damp in a snowstorm, as well as a DWR treatment to help shed moisture. The only difference is The North Face's WindWall shell for added windproofing.

Awesome down jacket

I am a 5’6 male 140lbs with broad shoulders and skinnier waist (30”). Although it is slightly loose around the waist, the shoulders fit better (less restrictive) than the size small Jacket is 550 down. The style is a bit baggier (puffs are larger and looser) than some newer NF down jackets. Jacket unfortunately sheds some small feathers, but NF told me that it would do that initially. Like all down jackets it can roll up, however it is not as compact as a lower down fill. Overall it is pretty warm. Could be in a T shirt in high 40F and be okay Also highly highly recommend buying from Back country.. they are amazing!

Got this as a gift for my boyfriend, he loves it! It has been keeping him super warm through the cold Park City winter. He loves the fit of the coat and it has held up nicely through his tough love.

Worst quality!!!! Be careful, goose keep droppimg out from the jacket. And it’s not warm as expected.

Got this as a gift for my dad. He had a lighter jacket and a much heavier one, but needed something for in between. This fit the bill great. Good warmth for most winter days, but not overkill. Fit is great and true to size. The Shady Blue is a great color, too!
