When we have an involved skiing mission on the agenda we turn to The North Face A-CAD FUTURELIGHT Jacket. The FUTURELIGHT membrane provides top-tier waterproofing for storm riding and complete air-permeability for when we are navigating backcountry skintracks. This allows the A-CAD to start shedding heat earlier than most membranes, preventing that dreaded sweaty feeling on the way up without sacrificing coverage on the way down.

I would buy this again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a cool jacket. Got it for my boyfriend last month and he loves all the pockets! The color is cool too since it matches his orange bib.

Look good, stay warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PROS: Spectacular water/weather proofing. Great pockets and storage. Good waist length. CONS: would be great if it had a 2-way zipper. Bottom zipper up 6" helps for harness & rope management. The chin cuff froze over on 4 separate days, but remained tolerable.

Super happy with this jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 20 years of coaching & competing the options in the closet are plentiful, but this is a win. Missing two way zipper to zip up from waist and allow easier harness access, and recco.

Great styling and design, terrible durability
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fabric ripped after 7 days of moderate resort use. I'm very disappointed given this is TNF's top-of-line jacket (which is reflected in the price point). This is a great looking jacket that unfortunately won't last the test of time.

This jacket is rockstar!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the fit, the flexibility, the wind & water resistance. More-over, the turquoise & green color way has an awesome appeal & garners lots of comments.

Snow and Rain Proof Protection from the ACAD!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is amazing spent the day hiking in the snow and the jacket kept me well protected from moisture fits very well and is very comfortable to wear without impeding movement. For the second half to he hike the snow turned to pouring rain and I was able to stay perfectly dry through the second half of the hike.
