Good with one big flaw

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
medium/short
Height:
5' 8"
Weight:
150

I have and gone through numerous bib ski pants from NF and other manufactures. I very much like that these come in a short length, I'm 5"8" 150 lb and the leg length in medium short is spot-on for me. They are generous in the thighs and rear, approaching clown pants style but not quite that baggy. I like the pocket layout and venting options. The material so far has been holding up and is wind and waterproof. I haven't used them in tight glades yet so the durability of the material has not been torture tested. The big flaw and considering these list for $550 is the bad, cheap S...T design of the self adjusting shoulder straps. Instead of independent left and right straps its one continuous strap in the front with a single X-over in the back. Granted you only need to (and have no other choice) adjust the length with one cam its impossible to get the straps to lay flat on your back, they will always be twisted. I find this very annoying and not something that should be a problem with a piece at this price. Since I got these for more that 50% off, in a very cool color (not camo), it was not a negative that prompted me to return the pants. I may let my wife have at them since she is quite creative and skilled and likely could improve the strap layout.

Good investment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wear this on a trip to Park City, had a great time with this bibs. At first I was a little concerned about how thin the fabric is, if it gona keep me warm if I just wearing just a long johns inside. Surprisingly it did kept me work enough in a weather around 40-55 degrees cold. Fit is great, and options for the bibs fits are excellent.

Bomber TNF Bibs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bibs are great. Drop seat for when nature calls. Plenty of pockets that are large enough for junk. Roomy for Thicke clothes. Keeps the elements at bay. I have the orange ones. Not a camo guy. No one to hid from. I told a friend I just need an orange coat and stop paddle and I can work all year. LOL!

Expensive, but worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the material, it is lightweight and waterproof. Some Gore-tex feels stiff, and this is anything but stiff. I love all the pockets.

Don't buy this product!! Item is different than pictured!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do not buy thus product! The item is different than the one showed in picture! The camo design doesn't go to your chest, only until your waist. From there on up it's just military green. What a scam!

Maybe but I'd try another line first

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the pants and how they pair with the jacket but they are sized rather strangely. Oversized from the waist down and undersized waist up. But I still like them even though the fit isn't ideal.

Fabric quality is questionable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pant legs are fraying after two days of casual resort riding. The pants fit perfectly and do not touch the ground. I also roll them up when I'm not strapped into my board, and keep the pant legs above my snowboard buckles, so they shouldn't be showing any wear from resting against my boot. These pants seem to only be getting worse and I've only worn them a couple of times. I may have got a defective pair, because I've never had this problem with other pants, and these should be much better quality for the price.
