House Of Marley Doesn't Care
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I've had these for 4 months. The first two months with them were fantastic. Sound was great, Bass wasn't too much, but still impressive. Bluetooth hooked right up, battery gave more than one could hope for. But, after about two months, one speaker blew out. It was rattly, lost it's punch, just uncomfortable to listen to. Started the warranty email back and forth game with HOM directly, and there was about a week between responses. All of which was something more they were demanding, receipt needs to be in PDF, Fill out this information packet, back and forth, until finally, they said they would give me a 30% discount on a new pair, because the current model was discontinued. Then, last week, I accidentally dropped the headphones onto a rubber mat, and stopped working all together. For as expensive and heavy they are, I would hope they could withstand one drop at the very least. Wouldn't buy another pair.
soft on the ears
very nice pair of headphones i could wear theses all day long with no problem and the sound is wonderful.
First wireless headphones
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
These are the first bluetooth headphones I've ever owned, so maybe I'm biased, but I think they're awesome. Great sound, very comfortable, very stylish. I read other reviews that said mentioned that the buttons are not intuitive, which I would agree with, but there are only 6 buttons, so you can get used to it. The construction is solid and I got caught in a downpour and they survived (although I wouldn't recommend using them in wet conditions on purpose). I've never had any issues with battery life, but I haven't really ever used them for more than a few hours at a time. If you keep the aux cord with them, you can use them with the wire after the battery dies, great feature. The only thing I really don't like is related to this auxiliary cable. One end of the cord fits a normal headphone jack, the other end plugs into a smaller hole on the headphones so I assume that if I lost the cord I would have to go back to buy a replacement from this company rather than a generic cord. All in all, I am very happy with the purchase.
