Best. Sandal. Ever
Bought these for my wife and this is her review: They are by far the most comfortable and versatile sandal I have ever tried. Compared to others these are just as durable, but MUCH nicer on the feet! The padded footbed offers support and comfort. The velcro straps with extra padding on the interior do not rub like other brands, and are simpler to use and adjust than my Chacos. I recently took them on a ten mile hike through the dessert, canyons, and river hiking. They did not rub and stood up incredibly to daily abuse of hiking through rocky river beds, sandy banks, and rock slabs.

Chacos know how to deliver. I'm super happy with these

I went back and forth about spending the additional money but these fit amazing! They are so supportive and were exactly what I needed for our backpacking trip. I actually wear them all the time instead of flip flops now because of the additional comfort. So happy I decided to get them.

Sleek looks with outdoorsy function.
Purchased these as a birthday gift for my girlfriend and she's been wearing them nonstop ever since. I grabbed these Teva Tirras as they're available in half-sizes, which is rare when you're looking for sandals. I'd look at these instead of sizing up if you're between sizes and can't seem to find something that's right. They're really the perfect fusion between outdoorsy function and sleek, feminine styling. The sole is really sturdy and grips well to everything from rock outcroppings to dirt trails and city streets. Another cool feature is the cushy heel pod that's much softer than the remainder of the footbed, which helps to alleviate discomfort by soaking up shock while hiking and walking long distances.

Made such a wonderful gift.
My mom was heading to Europe for a little vacation and wanted some comfy shoes to walk around in that weren't to cumbersome or hot. So naturally the Teva Tirras were the first shoe that came to my mind so I ended up buying them for my mother and she loved them they are her favorite sandals now.

Comfortable and adjustable
I've used these sandals primarily after I get back to my car and want to swap out my hiking boots. They're really comfortable and supportive. I like the adjustable straps especially because I have narrow feet.

Support in a sandal
I am normally happy wth just a pair of flip flops, but wanted something more secure & sturdy that I could pack along to the Grand Canyon this summer. I've had great luck with Tevas in general and these do not disappoint - they are extremely comfortable, fit perfectly, and have so far been my go-to's for relay races, the beach, around town... and they don't stink or look worn out, despite all the work they've put in. I ordered Chocolate Chip only because it was on sale, but am happy to say that the colors are very neutral, and so it makes for a really versatile shoe.

Every year I get these sandals because they are my favorite! They keep you feet secure and they can get wet!

I bought these along with another pair of tevas for my trip to Thailand. They worked very well. I could walk long distances sightseeing and my feet never hurt. I would recommend these to anyone.

Teva Tirra Sandal - Women's
Wicked good footware!

I got these as a gift for a friend and she absolutely loves them! She said they fit true to size, and they're super comfortable for all day wear. I ordered the Lake Blue Gradient color and they look good with just about anything! Sometimes she likes to wear socks with her sandals since her feet are usually cold, so these do just the trick. As of now I have yet to hear any complaints about these sandals from her, which is ok with me!

Good for summer sightseeing
I bought this specifically for summer touring, since it's hard to find somewhat attractive sandals that are also comfortable enough for a full day of walking. I haven't used it in the woods/mountains, so I can't speak to its ability to go off-roading. But for city use, sidewalks, cobblestone, gravel paths, it was worthy. <br /><br />Fit is true to size, I bought my "default" size & it fit great. I have a high arch so I chose the Tirra model over others because both sections of straps are adjustable. That being said, I did have the bottom strap nearly at the end, so there's a lot of velcro showing! One drawback is the strap at the backside of the ankle is not adjustable, some other Tevas have that feature (the Numa sandal) but this does not, and sometimes it felt like the strap was low on my heel.<br /><br />It did not require a break-in period, none of the straps rubbed sore spots & the sole was comfortable. As it's meant for a all-terrain shoe, the insole is rubbery, so that can feel sticky or slick when you're sweaty! But the flipside is that makes it easy to clean at the end of the day. <br /><br />I did have some tired feet at the end of each day, it doesn't have the best arch support, but it's pretty darn good. I'd buy it again!

Fern Canyon Logjam
My GPS app says we did 1.6 miles of poking around Fern Canyon in the Prarie Creek Redwoods. The Teva Tirras performed really well through the numerous creek crossings and scrabbling over, along, and through fallen timber.

Ah, the end of the trail!
Look how happy my feet are in my Teva Tirras. You can see my pal's Chaco's too, notice how the band wraps around the toe? I always thought that looked cool but my friend pointed out that she can't wear socks with hers, even in the backcountry where no one can judge her. Seriously though, it's nice to schlep around camp in the morning in socks and sandals even if it isn't the sexiest of footwear choices.

Replaced my Keens
I didn't wear sandals until my mid-20's and I started out with Keens. I've had several pair of Keens and liked them but I really only wore them around the office or while kayaking. I always manage to get stuff between my foot and the footbed while hiking and it was really annoying. My friend swears by Chacos but the price tag scared me off. I settled on Teva Tirra's after finding them for $42. I'm really happy with them. They fit well and I don't get stuff between my foot and the footbed. I took them on a 4.5 mile hike with a 35L pack and by the last bit of the hike I was wondering if I should have worn regular boots because I had a hot spot. I think I'd take them out under similar circumstances again, maybe just take some moleskin along. If the toe straps would go a bit tighter, I don't think I would have gotten my hot spot. I may actually try to add a bit more velcro to the toe for more adjustment. Subsequent shorter trips have been hot spot-free and very enjoyable. I'm wearing them every day to the office. I like them while backpacking; great for fording creeks, fishing, and around camp at night. Plus, they're a lot lighter than my buddy's Chacos. They're a lot more supportive than my Keens, so much so that I doubt I'll be buying Keens ever again. This is my first summer in them, hopefully they will continue to hold up well. As of now they've seen a few months of daily use and 26 miles of hiking - they still look new!

Love these sandals!
The most comfortable sandals with good support. I wear them all summer. They hold up well to all abuse. I have been a Teva sandal wearer for many years and will continue as long as they make such a great product.

I ordered a size down because I have narrow feet and am happy with the fit. Very light and comfortable. Not quite as much arch support as chaco's but so much lighter and have a bit of a bounce. The chocolate chip color is lighter than I expected but I love these sandals anyway as they are so comfortable!

I have an old old pair of Tevas I love,...
I have an old old pair of Tevas I love, but it has a very high arch that I need. Do these have a high arch? If so this is my shoe. My old ones were a #6673 and this is what came up when I put that # in. Thanks much, Georg Ann

is it good for multi-sports use?
is it good for multi-sports use?

Why would anyone use an open toe, heel, sandal for multi sports? I would seriously be concerned about debrie cutting my feet.

I use these as approach shoes for rock climbing and love them! They are definitely rugged enough to handle the trail and scrambling around on rocks at the base of the crag all day.
