    Solid Sandal

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are pretty decent. They won't blow you away, but they're not trying to either. Teva makes a good product. The fit is a bit strange, with the strap layout, but once you get used to the best way to adjust them, they work out well. The slightly aggressive sole is helpful on any terrain.

    Good and Bad

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 7

Very comfortable when I first put them on, but the lack of padding on the underside of the straps was surprising. These guys gave me blisters on the top of my feet when I tried to strap them comfortably snug for a short hike to the beach. If you don't mind them being kind of loose, they should work for you. It was a deal-breaker for me.

    Tevas and Margaritas

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large

I'm not much of a sandal guy but these are awesome, much lighter than the Chaco counterparts and half the price, does the same thing. Foot stays plenty secure without all the straps and doesn't slip around when it's wet. I normally wear a 10.5 but ordered a 10 and they couldn't fit better.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 8
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 145lbs

These things are the best. First they are way more comfy than chacos. Which is a huge deal for me. I've done everything in these. I wear them around town, go hiking, do water sports and they rock. Heck one time I did about a 2 mile approach to a climb on these and when we got to the climb i realized we forgot some essential pieces of gear. So I decided to run back the car in my teva's and you know what.. they worked great!! I did not get one blister on the four mile round trip run. If you can run in a sandal then you know it is great.

I should mention that it can take a bit of time to dial down the fit. Once you figure out the straps and tighten it in all the right places it works great!! oh and the colors are super Rad too!! Also Size a full size down. These bad boys run a bit large.

    Better than Chacos

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I like these Tevas much more than Chacos.

First off, the price, I only paid $28 for a pair!

Second, the weight, Chacos were just too heavy for me after a long day of hiking, and swimming in chacos is so awkward!

Third, the comfort, Chacos just have too many tension points for the strap and after owning them for several years I never got them to adjust to my foot. I had several blisters form because varying tension throughout the strap... Plus the chacos took a very long time to break in, and even still were never that comfortable. The tevas were much more comfortable from the first time wearing them.

Lastly, Durability, I don't know yet, but I have put several miles on them, biked in them, rafted in them, and they still look new.

Overall, I think these are great, them may not be as "cool" as Chacos, but I don't really care, because for me, they are so much better.
