    Wider than expected

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I have been in search of a versatile lightweight hiking shoe for some time now. I had high hopes for this product after combing through the reviews, but what I didn't see was anything about the width of the shoe. This shoe is WIDE. I run at a narrow(ish) size 7 and have to say - this is the first time I have run into so much space in the toebox of a trail shoe. That being said, the quality seems to be intact and I can see it working well for someone whose feet run along the wider side of the spectrum!

Adequate, Not as Good as the Orignials

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I purchased these shoes for my wife, this is what she had to say about them, "These were a replacement for my Arrowood Waterproof Hiking Shoe, as I had worn the soles down to almost nothing. They are surprisingly slightly less attractive than their two-toned sibling shoe (see picture), but overall seem similar. They do seem to run a bit big compared to their two-toned siblings, but not in an outrageous way. I wore these consistently on a week-long trip to England, walking 5-7 miles per day, and found them to be acceptable, not amazingly comfortable but not particularly uncomfortable. My feet would hurt at the end of the day but probably due more to walking and standing a lot on pavement - so the experience on the trail would likely to be different, but not why I got these shoes. Essentially, a middle of the road waterproof shoe. Personally, I prefer the Arrowood over the Arrowood 2, due to fit and attractiveness"
