I tried these on, along with the Bella Prima Knicker and the Hi-Rise Holster Capri, and opted to go with the Hi-Rise Holster. The capri is slightly longer than the knickers, and I much prefer the hi-rise waist band for ultimate smoothing through the middle, and keeping the waist band in place. (And after owning the Holster shorts, I am now a BIG fan of the pockets). The Breakaway is the cheapest of the 3, and I would say they did feel a bit cheaper. I Recommend splurging a little more on those Hi-Rise Holsters. I am generally a curvy 16 in bottoms, and wear an XXL in Terry.

Very disappointed. The waist band rolls down to wearing them at bikini length. That’s a big big mistake in the design. I’m so disappointed and will return. Just not worth the price. Bad customer service that I have to pay the return shipping fee!!!

Comfortable, but see through
When I first got these I was thrilled by how comfortable they felt, but then I did the squat test in the mirror and they failed. These are see through when in the riding position. And I am slender, so if that happens to me it will happen to everyone. Check your backside in the mirror before heading out on your bike, lest your crack will be visible!

I chose these because on Terry's website, @90 women raved about these! I read reviews for everything I buy, and accord them respect. These knickers are soft and comfortable with just a moderate feeling of compression. They have the middle-of-the-line Fleet chamois (not the primo from Terry), which might lead one to think they would be just so-so. NOT so-so!! I've ridden these on 2-hour rides and find them wonderful. I hardly ever need to shift around to reduce pressure, unlike with my several pairs of premium Castellis and a Giordana I have. This Terry's chamois is deceptively understated, and (perhaps) therein lies its genius: it cushions better than the aforementioned other brands I have, never feeling remotely chunky or diaper-like the way so many tights do. I recommend sizing down from Terry's size charts unless you like really un-grippy tights - in Castelli I am (fer sure) a TIGHT XL but in Terry I am a comfortable Large, across several models, although by measurements (ouch) I should wear XL. A WINNER OF A KNICKER!

These sure are comfy but don’t pass the see-through test!! Undies are visible through the fabric when I bend over, bummer! These will be a return.
