Terry Bicycles Bella Prima Bib Short - Women's
Terry Bicycles has long been known for producing high-quality cycling shorts with current styling. The Women's Bella Prima Bib Shorts are Terry's first foray into the bib short realm, bringing the brand's signature comfort and style to those of us who prefer bibs over traditional waistbands. Featuring a mix of nylon and spandex, these shorts stretch to move with you through the pedal stroke and provide a hint of supportive compression. A mesh halter-style bib comfortably holds the shorts in place while letting you keep your jersey on during mid-ride pit stops.
Equipped with Terry's Flex Air chamois, the Bella Prima Bib Shorts boast seamless padding with a four-way stretch and multi-density foam, ensuring a smooth, chafe-free feel. A lightweight, microfiber cover promotes ventilation while simultaneously reducing the insert's thickness profile at the inner thigh to combat chafing and irritation.

I tried on 5 Terry shorts for comparison.
I am generally a XXL in Terry, though maybe more on the cusp between XL and XXL, so I tried this in XL (no XXL available).
They were just a hair snug in the legs, but not too bad, and plenty comfortable with the bib style and laser cut leg holes. The top had plenty of room, was maybe even a touch large (though I am only 5'5" wearing an XL), but I'm sure a jersey would keep it all in place. It wasn't too big, I would call it a touch loose/comfortable, and it's probably better than being too tight given the halter style around the back of the neck.
Speaking of which, I love that they went with this halter style for women, genius!
I would suggest pairing with a high neck jersey though, such as the Sheebeast Divine, or similar.
Ultimately I decided to go with the Peleton Hi Vis and the Breakaway shorts, but these were 3rd on my list, so if money were no object I probably would have kept them, too. And if I do change my mind and decide I want a bib short later, I would definitely come back to get these.
