Made to handle the heat.
Bringing comfort and convenience to your warm weather adventures, the Tepui Baja Series Kukenam Mesh 3-Person Tent is a lighter, airier version of the original designed for desert wanderings and tropical explorations. It features significantly more mesh for a breezy feel that helps you sleep comfortably in hot, humid environments, and it's light enough to mount to your all-wheel drive hatchback, so you don't have to own a dedicated off-road rig to enjoy this convenient camping solution.
The Baja Series Mesh version of the Kukenam is almost all mesh on the canopy walls for unmatched breathability in hot climes, without inviting in the many insects that tend to come with warmer environments. Go with just the mostly mesh setup for the calmest weather, or throw on the rainfly when daily downpours or high winds are bearing down. The A-frame design lets you sit up comfortably when you're waiting out daily afternoon storms, and the included mattress offers home-like comfort that beats a skinny inflatable pad any day.

Easy and Comfortable
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This has transformed my camping experience. It can be tough camping with a baby/toddler and my Tepui roof top tent has made it a very easy and comfortable experience. Setup/teardown is a breeze and the 2 1/2 in foam mattress provides a great night sleep for the whole family. It fits 3 adults snug, and 2 adults plus a toddler perfect! I have the aluminized version of the Baja Kukenam, which is great for camping year round due to its water proof exterior. I have it setup on the factory rails on my Subaru Outback (like the one pictured) and it works great!
Game-Changer, Easy & Fast Set-Up
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Lived out of this around California for awhile, popped this up on the beaches in Ventura to surf, and outside Yosemite in El Portal for climbing, and Santa Barbara to mountain bike. Could not be happier with the quality in windy, wet conditions.
What are the shipping dimensions? Any chance this could be broken down and shipped in two or three smaller/lighter boxes? I am stationed overseas with a DPO address.
Will this tent work with a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
