Sizing Guide

Familiarity:: I returned this product before using it
Size Bought:: 8.5 womens
Height:: 5' 2"

I did not use these to climb in rather only writing a review to help those looking for the right size. I consistently wear a women's size 8 and ordered these in a size women's 8.5 which is a men's 7.5. This shoe is considered unisex so goes off men's sizes. It was a tough decision as I was between this shoe and and the Evolv's Elektra. The fit on this was a good snug (not uncomfortable like other climbing shoes I have tried) and I felt they would likely stretch but when it came down to it my feet felt better in the other shoes. I'd say if you want a snug fit go a half size up from your regular shoe size or if you want a more relaxed fit go a whole size up. Maybe in the future I'll order a whole size up. The shoe offered all around comfort for the slightly snug fit.

Excellent Jack of all Trades

Familiarity:: I've put it through the wringer

I decided to try these after wearing through my first pair of climbing shoes. I have some food issues (bunions) and find most all shoes excruciatingly painful. I had tried on a pair of the Mundaka's some time earlier and remembered how comfortable they were for such an aggressive shoe, and looked into the line more for their basic shoe, bringing me here. I would say the rubber is a little stickier than the Tarantulace, but not by a lot. The shoe is also more flexible, but again, but by a lot. These are my gym shoes, but I also wear them outside most of the time and I use them for all but my project grades (which isn't that high- 10a-10d depending on the style). I've had them nearly two years now, with probably 1 year of consistent use and the rubber is holding strong. I don't really know how to gauge climbing shoe sizing. i have these in a 7 and my street shoe is an 8. They're comfortably snug, but I don't wear my shoes very tight due to the aforementioned bunions.
