Weekend escapes to overnight adventures.

Perfect for overnights in the backcountry and weekend road trips, the Tatonka Glacier Point 40 Women's Backpack eagerly carries all your camping and adventure gear while comfortably distributing heavy loads with its X Vent Zero Plus-System.

This fully adjustable suspension system is specifically designed for the female body, adjusting to various back lengths for a fine-tuned fit. Another cool feature with this suspension system are suspended mesh panels and x-shaped fiberglass rods, which bolster heavy loads and increase breathability on long-distance treks.

The Glacier Point 40 is designed with robust materials for longevity when you're subjecting it to the rigors of backpacking and extended travel. It's divided into main and bottom compartments for easily accessing all your gear without having to endlessly dig through the entire pack. Hydration compatibility (reservoir not included) allows you to drink on the move without pulling out your water bottles. Attachment points for trekking poles and front gear loops provide functionality for all of your gear. Compression straps streamline the pack's overall bulk, especially when it's stuffed to capacity. There's also an included rain cover for keeping your pack dry from thunderstorms and light rain showers on the trail.

Perfect for a 9 day hike!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

LOVED this pack. I panic bought it right before a 9 day hike on the TMB (not camping, staying in huts) and didn't have time to test it out but it was perfect. My only qualm is that I wish the pocket on the top zipped the other way but clearly that isn't even a real issue. The sleeping bag pocket held my rain gear and the two pockets on the top flap were super nice for small things (my sunscreen, electrolyte tabs, first aid kit). The external frame helped with my back sweat issue in 80+ degree temps and the straps adjusted perfectly. I will say it's taller but skinnier than most of the other 40L packs I saw but I liked that. There are no pockets on the hip belt. Again, not a deal breaker for me, I put snacks in my pants pockets. I would recommend this! For reference, I am 5'2" and it was about even with the top of my head when it was on and the hip belt was secure. I also checked it on the way home and it made it through the flight unscathed.

Perfect for a 9 day hike!
