This fender is a far better design than zip tie versions. It is shaped nice, attaches via bolts on fox forks (too bad for RS users) and holds up well. My only wish is that it had coverage further forward keeping dirt/mud out of the seal area.

Super easy installation compared to zip-tied ones. Looks way nicer than the Blackburn mudguards and super durable.

Best fork fender out there

If you have your heart set on the orange (standard 34/36) version of this fender it will work with a 34sc...worst case you may have a little extra clearance on the sides. The top orange one is for a standard 34/36. The black one under the orange fender is the 34 SC. if you look closely you see a little extra black plastic sticking out of the sides of the fender...That is the only difference between the 2.

This mud guard is sleek with the bolt on design you no longer have to look at the messy zip ties. I am running this on my 36 which isnt exactly the right fork but it bolts on and has held up well.

Also wondering, is your fork boost or non boost? (110mm x 15 or 100mm x 15?)

Description shows it fits 34 and 36 fox forks but one of the answer someone says it’s only for 32/34 fox forks. What’s the correct answer here. I already ordered this for my fox 36 boost fork.

Hi Richard, this fender is designed for Fox 34 Step Cast forks but fits regular Fox 34 and Fox 36 forks just fine. The Fox 34 SC fork has narrower stanchions which this fender accommodates for with minor cutouts but it will mount fine, function fine, and won't look out of place on your Fox 36 fork.

Does the fork have to be a step cast? Will it work on a standard fox 34 performance?

Patrick, This fender is designed for the 32 & 34 stepcast forks. You'd need the standard Syncros Trail Fender to fit your 36.
