I wanted to keep these, but there are some fit issues, and for the price, I wanted them "perfect". These pants have windblocking panels completely covering the front, so they will be outstanding in a cold headwind. My thighs are 22.5 inches, and the medium pant is a little bit snug there, not awful, but I do look a little funny standing in them with that cut. The curious part is the leg below the knee. These get really wide down at the ankles, so wide that they will be flapping around. There are two snaps to secure the ankle, but one could be called "really wide" and the other might be dubbed "humongous". I don't understand the logic- they seem too big even for a cross country ski boot. The pockets are great, high quality zippers, I really wanted to like them. Hopefully you will.
