    Revolutionizing the super pole.

The Swix Triac 1.0 was recognized as the world's best and most successful ski pole. Now meet the new and improved Swix champion, the Triac 2.0 IPM Carbon Composite Ski Pole. 5% lighter, 18% stiffer, and 8% stronger than the 1.0, this pole has taken cross country technology to another level of competition. The new super coated straps last longer as well. The included Carbon leaf basket is interchangeable with Swix's other three baskets plus a roller-ski ferrule as a supplement. All this can be done within just a few seconds. Swix engineers the Triac 2.0 with only the most advanced materials available on the market to make it the strongest and stiffest shaft construction there is. When you are ready to get competitive, look to the world's next super pole.

    the best pole made 2.0

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have the 1.0 version of these as my main classic race poles. Pity backcountry doesn't carry them in anything but a 150. I demoed the 2.0, and while the difference to the 1.0 isn't huge, they are stiffer and a bit lighter. Not sure how much stiffer I'd like, but the added strength (not tested) would be good as I've had to take swix up on their shaft warranty more than once. If you want to knock time off the birkie, have a pole that is a piece of art (but useable, unlike the force) this is it.
