Full FlashPro BXP Brake Pad
That feeling when you grab the brake levers and nothing happens, so you squeeze extra hard, and nothing happens, so you squeeze as hard as humanly possible until your fingers seize up, and still nothing, so you steer into a field (if you're lucky) and take a speed-scrubbing tumble? No fun. SwissStop's Full FlashPro BXP Brake Pads use the company's special BXP rubber compound to ensure serious stopping power in all conditions, assuming you're using an aluminum braking surface (if you're rocking carbon, these aren't for you.) BXP offers top-level modulation, durability, and power, so you'll always have the control you need, and work with SRAM and Shimano 9-, 10-, and 11-speed groups. Each package comes with two pads and two holders , so grab two if you're planning on replacing front and back pads.

Step 2 in my brake upgrade
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
When I re-cabled my road bike I installed a pair of FSA Gossamer brakes. The FSA brake calipers are great: solid and smooth. However, I was not impressed with the stock brake pads that came with the calipers. The stock FSA pads didn't feel decisive and they were some kind of one piece cartridge/pad combo so I needed cartridges and pads to make the switch to Swiss Stop. I've just taken a test ride and I am pleased with the performance of the swiss stop pads when paired with my FSA brakes. One other thing, the pad holders are black (the photo on BC at the time I ordered these showed the pad holders to be bare metal.) Black goes better with my bike so I was pleasantly surprised.

Really blue? The description and ordering...
Really blue? The description and ordering form say that these brakes are blue. But the picture shows black pads in silver holders. What colors are really available?
