Sweet Protection made the Salvation from rugged nylon, which it laminated to a three-layer Gore-Tex waterproof and breathable membrane to keep the deepest pow and gnarliest storm from invading your space. And it decked all the seams out with waterproof tape to make sure micro-gaps don't become an issue.

To make sure you stay sweat-free when you're rallying down puckering lines or kicking your way up a coolie, Sweet Protection decked the Salvation out with zippered inseam vents to keep a nice breeze blowing around your down-belows. Elastic boot gaiters keep snow out of your socks, and 500D Cordura nylon ankle guards prevent ski edges and crampons from slicing up your cuffs. The Salvation also boasts Hypalon hook-and-loop tabs for easy waistband adjustment, two large thigh pockets, and an ankle snap that lets you lift up your cuffs so you don't tromp all over them.
