The best base Layer I have used

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This long sleeve merino wool base layer from sweet is absolutely amazing. It flows effortlessly from the River, ski hill, and mountain bike trails, to downtown with understated style and bold good looks. But performance is where the shirt truly shines. The Merino wool effortlessly wicks moisture while providing insulation and amazing warmth for a medium/ thin layer shirt. I live in the south east and brutalize gear regularly. From kayaking through rowdy Gorges, to mountain biking in the North Carolina/ Pisgah area, to skiing, to flyfishing, I regularly put gear through its paces. This shirt has stood the test of time. I have owned this shirt for over a year. I work as a cardiovascular intensive care unit nurse three days a week and then get out after it the other four days a week. So I am regularly washing and re-wearing the shirt multiple times throughout the week. I have to say it is been nothing but bomber with no rips, holes, tears, or otherwise. I would highly recommend this to anyone as a quality base layer for any cool to cold activity.
