I-Finger Glove

You usually put your touch-screen GPS unit in your right jacket pocket, and store your music player in that handy-dandy stash pocket on the sleeve. Your touch-screen phone goes in the inside pocket, and your oversized me-pad tablet lives in your daypack. But all that electronic goodness would be for naught if you didn’t have your I-Finger gloves from Swany. This softshell glove comes with an i_Ndex finger tip and thumb so that you can reach out and touch your e-friends without subjecting your fingers to f-bite.

Weird skin reaction

I've put it through the wringer

I like the look of these gloves. They fit well too although a bit snug. They are not for cold-cold weather but make for nice driving gloves. So I wore them for a week or two but then noticed something happening to both index fingers. The back of both index fingers were breaking out into bizarre, badly infected sores...! It took me a few days to figure out that it might be from the gloves. So I stopped wearing them, and washed them, and waited. After the spots had healed I tried wearing them again and the same thing happened. Just the back of each index finger - really strange. Maybe it's just my skin and something I'm allergic to on the back of each index finger of the glove, but have never had a reaction to any other clothing so don't know.

Not for sausage fingers....

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These gloves are nice on a mild weather day and the I-Finger worked well with my Android, but were a little skinny in the fingers.

Pretty good

Best uses: driving and texting! Not perfect, but very decent. Your thumb tip and first finger tip will be cold... The mylar/nylon-ish fabric on those spots is thin and conducts cold temps quickly. But the rest of the glove is decent and fairly warm for a thin liner glove. Silicone grippers on the palm and fingers are nice but not excessive. Durability seems good so far ~ one month. The finger tips feel like they might wear out... But so-far so-good. They are pretty accurate when typing. Overall very useable. Kinda flashy in a subtle way. These are way better than The North Face E-Tip gloves, those are not warm at all.

Also killer!

I dig these gloves, a lot. Sleek, stylish and the touch screen feature works great. My only complaint is that they are a pretty tight squeeze to get into, even on the XL. The opening is pretty small but once you get them on, they are great.

Got a women's version of this glove? We skirts have i-phones too! :)

Inventory questions like this usually sit idle on the item page forever. I would recommend clicking on the gray "Chat Now" box on the upper right of the page to initiate a chat with a gear expert. They have immediate and real-time access to inventory and order information. Hope that helps.
