Not a fan

I got the ambit3 watch because I wanted a reliable watch that would keep track of my workouts and heart rate. I love the watch, but I very much dislike the heart rate monitor belt. I did what the instructions said by cleaning and drying after each use. It stopped working after about a year or less, so I got another heart rate belt and it stopped connecting/pairing with my watch after several months. I’ve read the owners manual and online forums without any success of pairing it back to my watch. I don’t want to spend the money again for a belt that only lasts for a couple of months.

I've worked with Suunto wrist computers for the last 8 years now and after upgrading from a T6 to an Ambit 3 Peak I had to get the Smart Belt. The enclosure system is a welcome site as the loop into plastic piece is simple while not messing with the module like the older ANT + belts. I also notice that the comfort is a bit better as well with the material. Some outside devices don't get as good of a read as the wrist computer but that is to be expected. I'll play around with battery life and connectivity a bit more and if all good I'll give an updated with another star.
