Super Sticky Kush Star Fade Bar Tape

We typically think of fading in the saddle as a bad thing. With Supacaz's Super Sticky Kush Star Fade Bar Tape, that's not the case. Necessarily. You might still find yourself pedaling squares while trying to hang on in a finale, but at least your tape's fade won't be a negative. The tape's not all style, of course. It has a uniquely tacky face material and a thin layer of cushion that absorbs more road noise than it has any right to do. The tape stays tacky for a confident grip, even when wet, and the padding doesn't create obtrusive bulk under gloves or bare hands.

  • Race-ready bar tape with aesthetic flair
  • Dichromatic color blends match—or clash—in style
  • Durable face resists the elements and stays tacky when wet
  • Light cushion absorbs road noise without impeding bar feel
  • Aluminum bar plugs add a touch of luxury
  • Included finishing tape is a step above the industry standard
  • Item #SZZ0004

I've put it through the wringer

I love this tape. I have wrapped it, I'm not a pro but it came out pretty well. That is the tough part, now the fun part. It looks awesome! And feels awesome. The only tape I have used that I don't feel like I need to wear gloves. The padding is great (not too bulky, but comfy) and the grip even when wet with sweat is great. And this is awesome. Did I mention it looks awesome! This tape is a winner in my book and I think you should buy it. You will be happy with your decision and making good choices is awesome.

Looks awesome but hard to put on

The Super Sticky Kush Star Fade Bar Tape looks really slick once you manage to wrap it. There's a two tone pattern that will complement any color scheme. I put the white and black on a silver bike with a white saddle and it looks sharp. The feel is quite grippy -- more so than most tape. You'll either like that or hate it, personal preference. The one downside is that the tape was super hard to wrap due to being thick and stiff. It took me three tries. Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. But it looks and feels great!
