The Versa goes for a ride.
Formerly offered only in a cut designed for runners, the Sugoi Versa Jacket for Women has made the transition to the bike. It has been a staple for the ambulatory for some time, but now Sugoi has updated the functional performance that so many of us have come to rely on with a bike-specific fit that better accommodates your position in the saddle.
The Versa is made from Sugoi's Argon fabric, a tear-resistant shield against external water that still manages to evacuate moisture from the inside. It'll keep you comfortable in rainy, cool conditions; however, in the even that it does overheat or the temperature doesn't call for full coverage, the Versa can be converted to a vest courtesy of its magnetically attached sleeves. It also has a rear, zippered pocket for storing the sleeves, so you can pull them off mid-ride as the conditions change or after you warm up. Reflective elements help keep you visible in low-light conditions.
The Versa Bike Jacket - Women's is available in five sizes ranging from X-Small to X-Large in the colors Super Pink and True Blue.

- Q & A
Couldn't have found better!
The magnets hold together the sleeves so they don't pop off. This jacket allows for the wind to flow through the jacket nicely. It has a lot of pockets, double in the back, one on each side. A pocket in the top on the front. The only con is the zipper does sometimes separate, but it can be fixed if I unzip and then zip it back up perfectly. The price cannot be beat for the quality. I've purchased 3 jackets since this one, all more money, and this jacket tops them.
Great jacket, magnets are cool
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: XL
I wear this jacket for both running and biking. The pockets are weird because they are in the back of the jacket (better for the cyclists)
I like it because temperatures vary a lot where I live. I fit for my chest area because that is always my issue in finding a fit, and it fits great. I haven't had it in the rain yet.
Is this jacket waterproof or just water resistant?
This is in the category of "might rain" jacket. The fabric is water repellent, which I guess is a weasel word that means "not quite resistant"
A good review here:
