Evolution Short
Updated with a 3D-formed RC Pro chamois for blissful comfort, the Sugoi Men's Evolution Short is ready for everything from leisurely jaunts along your favorite boulevard to grueling grinds up alpine passes. As an affordable solution to pricier cycling shorts with unnecessary features and flashier designs, the re-designed Evolution Short offers an optimal blend of support and quick-drying comfort with its EvoPlus fabric. This fabric actively wicks moisture off your body, facilitating rapid drying under sweltering riding conditions.
The RC Pro chamois is constructed with 15-millimeter high-density foam that absorbs fatiguing road vibration. Ventilated perforations reduce moisture build-up when you're sweating profusely in hot weather. Four-way stretch panels conform to the body's individual contours, maximizing long-distance comfort for ticking off that century ride from your cycling bucket list.

I purchased 1 pair initially. They were very comfortable and fit well so I bought 2 more pairs of shorts. After 1000 miles of riding on trainer and road the seams at the crotch unraveled and the material at the contact points had worn through. Other brands I've worn - Pearl Izumi, Louis Garneau, Castelli and Giordana - have lasted about 3x longer.

Great

Very comfortable. Silicone grippers work very well and you don't realize they're there. Definitely worth the money over the cheaper name-brand shorts. The only problem now is that now I have to spend $100 on all my bike shorts...

I have a couple of pairs of Sugoi shorts and these are the best ones yet. Fits well, very comfortable chamois. The only downside is that the top rolls down a bit. But maybe that's because I'm fat.

Recently I’ve been trying a lot of different shorts, Castelli, Louis Garneau, Specialized...I had tried Sugoi before but the RC100 chamois left a lot to be desired. I decided since the chamois had been changed to give Sugoi another shot. To my amazement these have worked out amazingly. These are now by far the best shorts I own for indoor training. It’s easy to be a quality short on the road, but indoors is a different story. These are well worth the money.

I wear Evolution shorts for Indoor Group Cycle class at my YMCA. They fit well with good padding & support. The shorts hold up well as I wear them during hour long classes 3 to 4 days per week. They'd probably also be good riding bikes outside, but I buy Sugoi RS Pro shorts for those rides.

The Evolution shorts are my comfort everyday riding shorts. They have a great chamois in them, and are the most durable riding shorts I have ever had. I still use the first ones I bought, almost 3 years ago, and the are in great shape. Mine have been washed almost twice a week, since day one.

I weigh 200lbs and have worn mine many more miles than 1000 on the road and the chamois and rest of the short have shown no signs of seam wear like described above. Pearl Izumi and Louis Garneau that I've worn also wear fine but don't have the comfortable chamois like these.
