Original Stormy Kromer Cap
In a collaboration of legendary proportions, Stormy Kromer Mercantile worked with Harris Tweed to create the Harris Tweed Original Kromer Cap. This twist on the iconic Original Cap features Harris Tweed wool construction, which is hand-woven on the rocky, barren islands off the coast of Scotland. The only fabric in the world protected by an act of Parliment, Harris Tweed must be made with 100% pure virgin wool, dyed, spun, and finished in the Outer Hebrides and woven by the islanders in their homes on the Islands of Lewis, Harris, Uist, and Barra. This cap combines the history and tradition of two fine brands from either side of the Atlantic.

- Q & A
Great winter hat!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I love my Stormy Kromer. I have the Luxmore colorway in size 7 3/8 and it fits me perfectly. I was skeptical at first and wasn't sure if the hat was going to look too bulky on my head with the band that wraps around the outside but I really am surprised by how much I like the look, it doesn't look bulky at all. A great hat for winter that keeps my scalp and ears toasty warm! Very impressed with Stormy Kromer so far!

HOW DO I CALCULATE MY CAP SIZE?
To get your size, measure comfortably around your head where your cap will sit, with a tape measure. Take that number in inches, divide by 3.14 (pi) and round up to the nearest eighth. This is your cap size. See the chart for size conversions.
Original Harris Tweed Cap
What do you get when you combine authentic Harris Tweed from the Scottish Isles with rugged wool and generations of innovation? The Original Stormy Kromer Cap, thatâs what. Because when it comes to comfort and style, this six-panel, flannel-lined plaid cap is the perfect winter hat for men.
How to use the Earflaps
You might not need instructions to wear your Stormy Kromer masterpiece, but there is a right way and a wrong way. The right way involves putting the cap on your head, grabbing the ear band on both sides and pulling down. There’s no unfolding or flipping, and you don’t have to take your cap off. Just pull down and settle in.
