    Size down

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: M

This jacket is great. Bought for chilly days and nights in the pacific northwest. Fairly rain proof unless its a torrential downpour and really warm. Usually wear a large but ended up having to size down and its still a little roomy. Overall, great jacket.

This Jacket is a nice looking jacket, fairly warm even down to around 5º with just a long sleeve shirt underneath. The downfalls are the shortcuts they took to get the jacket to it's pricepoint. Off brand zippers feel flimsy and the lining of the jacket feels thin and cheap. Overall I like the jacket and folks seem to compliment it. If you can get it on sale then I say go for it!

Very Warm- just what I was looking for

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small

I was in the market for a warm jacket which didn't need a bunch of layering underneath to keep warm. In the frigid Illinois winter, this jacket keeps me warm. I can wear only a T-shirt under this jacket and it keeps me warm in sub 20 degree (F) weather. I Like that the hood is detachable and the jacket is long enough to cover my bum, but doesn't look like a parka. Only recommendation is that the hood interior material be a softer material like that on the neck line. Also I have wider shoulders, and it becomes a little tight when I stretch my arms above my head or wrap my arms around myself.

    great value

For the price it's a really nice coat. Very warm, quality seems good so far. fit was pretty standard, width not trim or wide, standard there as well. Looks good on and has been a hit as I gave it as a gift.

    Exactly what was needed

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 180lbs

I was looking for a warmer insulated puffy jacket that was not ski related and could keep me warm on nights out, whether being in the city or the woods. 6' 180lbs and large is a perfect fit!

Nice and warm feeling. I wish it was more of a slimmer fit in the body. The zipper is all plastic and could be better. The hood is large, which it good if you choose to wear it as an active jacket with a helmet. Overall I'm happy with my purchase since it was half off especially. I would have thought twice if it was full price and I saw it in person.

Pro. Super warm. Super soft. Cinches where you expect them. Detachable hood. Cool design.

Cons. Zipper could be better. Could be slightly tighter in the body (I'm a slim person who likes slim clothing)

I'm sure this will keep me nice and warm on my way into work and cold nights under the trees.

    gorgeous coat!

gave this to a burly 6'2" guy, he loves it! I love it!!! looks super classy and he loves the warmth, but durability. was a lot lighter feeling than I thought it would be, not a heavy old coat. light, but with retro styling.

    Great jacket!

I’m very happy with this purchase! Always wanted a longer, warm jacket like this. Feels like I’m walking around with a bed comforter wrapped around me! The size is perfect too. I’m 5’7” 138 lbs and I chose the Small.

    Unanswered Question

If one was interested in adding a waterproof coating to this jacket, would a nixwax softshell product be the correct choice or should I leave the jacket as is?
