Great 90?s Flannel
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- M
- Height:
- 5' 9"
- Weight:
- 175
It is very soft and lightweight. The fit is comfortable when worn unbuttoned over a tank top - but I am a lady. I wouldn?t buy this same flannel for my husband even a size or two up based on how well it fits my much narrower shoulders. But for a gal or guy with a slight frame I highly recommend for casual wear.

Stoic Flannel Shirts are Junk
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- XXL
- Height:
- 6' 1"
- Weight:
- 236
I ordered a size bigger than what I normally wear because I wanted them to fit a bit loose. After only a few washes, I can't even wear them at all. I DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone buying these shirts, they're not worth one red cent. Total Junk! AVOID, DON'T BUY. I wound up donating my two new shirts to Catholic Charities.

On the fence about returning
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- Medium
- Height:
- 5' 9"
- Weight:
- 130
Pros: - Material is soft and comfortable. - Rather lightweight, which is what I wanted. - I like the colors and pattern fairly well; I'm picky. Cons: - It's not "too" small, but I wear it over a t shirt and it's not quite as roomy as I would like. - There's something unusual about the cut. The length at the bottom is scant, and oddly, shorter in the back than in the front. The distance between the top two buttons is less than between all the others. Not exactly a problem, but more typical of women's shirts? I've never seen this before. - It looks rumpled after washing. I'm not expecting crisp, and I would never iron a flannel shirt, but I would hope in this price range that it would shake out relatively flat and that the collar flap wouldn't stick out at a funny angle, creating the impression that the wearer is drunk. - My quandary: is it wrong enough that I will end up just not wearing it? Then I'd better return it and save the purchase cost (less the shipping label cost). Or will I get over it and just use it as the shirt I wanted in the first place?

Shrink about 4 inches
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- L
- Weight:
- 200
This shrank about 4 inches after the first wash. All of my T-shirts stick out well below the hemline. I?m not even sure it?s worth sizing up because the material is crazy thin. Backcountry really needs better quality control and their Stoic line
