    Perfect Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 145lbs

I love this jacket. Its so warm and comfortable and fits great. It was actually recently stolen so I'm purchasing it again.

    Like coat, zipper issue

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 145lbs

I like this coat for a lightweight coat. I live in Maine and this is NOT for cold days, but easy to throw on when a bit warmer. It's pretty thin. Sadly, I need to return because the zipper is broken.

Looks and feels better than it was made

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 150lbs

Color is great, fit is great, comfort is great, look is great. Zipper was defective and sent back and exchanged for a different coat. Customer service was helpful, just wish the coat was better quality. Some of the strings randomly over the coat were starting to come apart, as well. Not a coat for below freezing temps, but a good coat if you're not planning on remaining outside for an extended period of time.

    Very nice - Very nice.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

This jacket is surprisingly warm for its weight! Great fit! I would say that the picture does not do the jacket justice. The picture looks like the jacket is a bit straight and narrow. Instead, the jacket is like a beautiful, blooming flower that has a great fit! The only thing I would say is that this jacket isn't particularly breathable. I have found myself to be a bit clammy when wearing this jacket.

    Nice fit, beautiful coat!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: medium
    • Height: 5'5"
    • Weight: 140lbs

Just received this coat and I love it! I bought an M. I am 5'5, 140-ish pounds and curvy (40-inch hips), and this coat fits perfectly. It has enough room to wear a thick sweater underneath -- but not too roomy. It has a very flattering shape. The arms are a little long but that does not bother me. I got the Bordeaux color and it's lovely. Can speak for warmth yet but it seems like a nice mid-weight coat, which is what I needed for Texas winters.

    Quality

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'5"
    • Weight: 130lbs

Not what I hoped for quality wise and runs large. Im normally a size medium and 5'5. Arms are a bit long too. Sadly must send back.

    Light & easy

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'4"
    • Weight: 127lbs

Good go to jacket when you're running out the door or when you need a little more than just a hoodie.
Good for big booty and hips, gets tight in the chest & wouldn't fit well if you're bigger busted - or I would just go up a size to avoid that.
Pockets are super deep which I LOVE.

    Glad it is stretchy!

I ordered a large. Am 5'5, 170--much carried in chest. The large is a little snug across my chest, but not uncomfortable. Plenty of room in hips, so great for hour glass shapes. I would definitely say the fit is definitely slim overall. I do love the shape of the coat, shows curves while being warm and functional. I don't love the matte fabric, but for $88 I'll live with it!

      A Stylishly Simple Coat

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Small
      • Height: 5'2"
      • Weight: 115lbs

This coat is nicely designed and well made, but the reason I'm not giving five stars is that it is only good for temperatures above 39 degrees - so not really a winter coat, but more of a transitional season coat. The good things: The shape is tapered, it is lightweight and a good shade of black, the pockets are a reasonable depth, and it has no down, so feathers coming out is a non-issue (thankfully). Also there is no distracting hardware - the zipper is blended, and the pockets are open. The issue is that it simply isn't warm enough for temps in the mid-30s or lower. I kept it because here in NYC we have a lot of days in the upper 30s-40s range, and the fact it doesn't shed is an advantage, but I've since bought another coat for cold winter weather, since this one will be insufficient for that.

      Too Curvy!

      • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: Small
      • Height: 5'10"
      • Weight: 132lbs

I wanted to get back into the Stoic brand after owning two Stoic jackets several years ago that I absolutely loved due to the slimmer fit, long arms, light weight warmth, and great price point. The Erie Jacket, however, has a much boxier/curvier fit that was WAY too wide, primarily in the hips, for my straighter frame. Arm length was good and quality seemed there, but not the right fir for me.

      Curvy!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: S
      • Height: 5'1"
      • Weight: 140lbs

This jacket actually makes you look like a woman. I ordered the small and it hugs my hips and chest perfectly. I also have a bigger bust than most, so I was nervous about ordering a small. It actually fit pretty well across my chest. For once an insulated coat that doesn't wear thin across my bust! Soft and matte texture.

      Nice jacket

      • Fit: Runs large

I've never tried Stoic before so I was curious what I was going to receive. The quality seemed really great and felt like it had a nice weight to it. I am 5'3" 125lbs and ordered the small. Unfortunately it was big on me and they don't make XS. If it had fit it probably would have became my go to jacket.

Nice jacket, just not what I needed

      • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: Medium
      • Height: 5'5"
      • Weight: 135lbs

I ended up returning this jacket because it was too big. I am between a small and medium, 5'5", 135 lbs with a small chest and shoulders and curvy hips (usually wear a size 6 in pants) and the medium was huge, especially in the hips. The jacket was also thinner than I expected and wouldn't endure the cold Colorado mountain winter. The color is great and the fabric is really soft. I wish it worked for me!

      Warm and a great fit

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Xsmall
      • Height: 5'
      • Weight: 110lbs

I’ve had this coat for a week and I love it. I’m very petite, so I have a hard time finding coats that I’m not swimming in. The fit on this is very flattering. The fabric is soft and matte. I’m 5’ tall and the length is just right. It’s lightweight but warm enough for Pittsburgh weather. It might not serve the best purpose for long outdoor excursions in freezing temps.

      Seriously Awesome.

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: Medium

When looking for a winter jacket to wear around the Salt Lake valley in the winter, I wanted a classy, water resistant, puffer jacket. I didn't want to spend much at all. I saw this jacket before it was released on the website and knew this was exactly what I needed. Now that I finally have it in my hands, I LOVE it! In everyday sizes I'm in between a small and medium, but usually go with medium because I'm curvy and don't like to show it off. I ordered the medium and while I do have plenty of room, I'm happy I did. I have muscular shoulders so they're a little more broad than your average chick, and the medium fit them perfectly. In the waist in hips I have lots of room, but the cut of the jacket still makes me look like a woman.
