Cloud Camp Bed

The Cloud Camp Bed is Stoic's comfiest sleeping pad, so Stoic sized it for two campers. It uses plenty of foam to offer all the cush you need to sleep soundly. Its soft, stretchy fabric has a TPU coating to protect from wet weather should you sleep outside the tent, and the bottom is reinforced to stay solid on rocky grounds. Stoic included a stuff sack to pack as compact as possible.

When I saw Stoic release the double cloud camp bed I was instantly interested. I had been looking for a mattress for two that wasn't going to deflate after one use. This mattress is so easy to use with amazing comfort. The foam core provides plenty of support with similar comfort levels as my memory foam mattress. Special thanks to my Gearhead Laurel for taking such good care of me.

The Stoic Double Cloud Camp Bed is aptly named! Definitely felt like a perfect little cloud underneath us. While I wouldn't attempt to take it backpacking, it's truly a game-changer for car camping. We rolled this baby out in the tent and let it self-inflate... it did a decent job, but we did need to blow it up just a tiny bit more to reach next-level comfort. It's just a hair narrower than a queen size bed, and was plenty of room for two average sized adults. It was easy to deflate and actually fits back in the stuff sack that it comes with! Pair this bed with the Stoic Groundwork Double Sleeping bag, and you are set for a cozy night's sleep. We mostly car camp in California and this set is absolute perfection.

Super comfy, 4 season, car camping pad!

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

If you're looking for a comfortable, warm, double sleeping pad for car camping, look no further! This pad is super thick and plushy, is fairly easy to set up and put away, protects from ANYTHING on the ground, and doesn't move you around when your partner moves! It has an easy to use self inflating function, but you will likely need to blow into it to get it fully inflated. Deflating is as easy as flipping the valve around, rolling the pad up, and putting it in the included stuff sack! My only complaint (and this is completely understandable due to the thickness and comfort) is the size of the pad when it's rolled up. This thing is BIG, and weighs 10lbs. It's sort of unwieldy to lug around, and takes up a lot of space, but if you aren't hurting for space in your car, I'd recommend it every time! The photo below is the Madrone 4, Groundwork Double Sleeping Bag, and the Double Cloud Camp Bed.

Hi Jake- any thoughts on how this compares to the Exped MegaMat Duo? In terms of technical specs or otherwise? Also this doesn’t require a mini pump like the MegaMat? Thanks for any insights!

What sort of guarantee comes with the Double Cloud Camp Bed? Also is there a repair kit that works well with it?
