Great Jacket -- Sorry Buttons

This is easily my favourite jacket I own, and my go-to. Unfortunately, the buttons are dog-water quality. I'd still buy it 10 times over, but invest an extra 5-7 USD in getting buttons. Should I be remunerated for this button cost AND/OR this jacket return (I want a second SO badly rn) I would gladly repurchase.
