I normally wear a 25/0 (sometimes a 26/2 depending on stretch), and I sized up to a 4 based on the previous review. The pants fit terribly. I have an athletic build (Waist 25", Hip 36.5"). The thighs and seat were wayyy tight compared to what's shown in the model photos. I wanted these to be looser/casual, but they were too tight in some places and also too baggy in the lower leg for me. Unfortunately, I think the size 6 will be too large in all the wrong places, so I'm doing a return. The construction, fabric, side pocket, etc. seem great and ideal for this type of pant, but the fit is truly off. I would have loved these pants for bike commuting to work, but the fit is a no-go. If you are a very slender person with model-like proportions, these might work for you though you'd probably still have to go up at least 1 size. If you are athletic/muscular with dem glutes and thighs, these will NOT work even with the stretch fabric (e.g. side pockets will pucker open and the rear slit pockets will also pull open).

I usually wear a size 0-2 and I ordered a 2 for these. They were incredibly tight like leggings and the pockets could be seen through the fabric since they were so tight. I decided to go 2 sizes up so I could get some room for deez thighs and then there were incredibly too loose and didn't fit my hips. Who are these pants made for? haha The fabric is nice, but I cant justify paying $7.00 every time to return them to Backcountry. It drives me crazy.
