Why We Built The Dome Tent

We built the Stoic Dome Tent for all the goats in your herd. It's a massive tent that's large enough for you to stand in as you tuck all the baby goats in. The removable rain fly is great for passing showers, and the mesh door keep the tent nice and cool on warmer camping trips. There are plenty of pockets to store your smartphones and other electronics, and the outlet lets you charge your devices from batteries outside the tent.

Decent tent for the price

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit:
True to size
Height
6` 0"

I've used the tent one time. I agree with other reviewers that the quality and craftsmanship is subpar. When we were putting up the rain fly and cinching it down, the seam at the guy line tore. The rain fly was still usable, but obviously disappointed in the quality. Also, their is only one door, not two, as the description says, which is very disappointing. On the plus side, the tent is large and the height and ability to stand up are accurate. We also encountered a pretty good rain storm and the tent did a great job keeping the water out. For less $150 I can live with the quality issues given the good size and apparent waterproofness.

Nice fun tent for the backyard

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit:
Runs large
Height
5` 7"

Sure, I have used better tent brands before; my favorite being Marmot, but this is a fun tent to use for novice overnight stays or just to make the kids happy. It actually can fit more than 6 people, so that is a plus. Larger than I thought. I can stand up in it (Gets the job done).

I returned this product before using it

We have purchased Stoic products before and been satisfied for what we paid, not this time. The bug net had many areas where it was stretched and bugs could get in. The net its self was much larger mesh than I have ever seen before too so not a lot of protection. The seams were uneven and looked like they were sealed by someone who couldn't follow a straight line. Just super poorly put together. Coleman or a number of other value lines are soooooo superior. This was definitely the leader in lowest possible quality. We sent it back instantly. If it was maybe 60 bucks you could excuse the rain cover being too short to prevent wind from blowing rain up your skirt literally.... (tent humor).

😂 it’s not that bad

Only One Door!

Item states there are two doors. My wife and I looked and looked but we only found one door. A little disappointed.

Agreed, very misleading description. Definitely only one door.

Do I need a footprint with this tent?

Hi Chris! Few to no tents require a footprint, but if you have the space and don't mind setting one up, it's always easier to replace a cheap footprint than an entire tent. It will increase the lifespan of your tent and help with any waterproofing if you are caught in a storm, but the tent will perform well on its own without one if you decide not to grab one! Let us know if you have any other questions.
