Terrible quality control

I returned this product before using it

I generally dont write reviews, and I really hate to give a bad review. That being said Ive used sterling ropes for years. Unfortunately I purchased a superstatic2 3/8 200 and it was damaged from the factory. Sheath nick that appeared to have been burned. I contacted backcountry and they went above and beyond and exchanged the rope without issue. Unfortunately the rope the exchanged it with had the same exact problem with the sheath. This is not an issue with backcountry, but a manufacturer quality control problem. Today I ordered a BlueWater II plus 10.5. Im sure backcountry would make it right, however I need the rope and have had to cancel two trips now. The damage is minimal, but not know how or what caused the damage I dont trust it. If you are looking to buy this rope buyer beware.

Great rope!

Using this rope in a pulley system for slacklining. Construction and quality are great and I see no signs of wear after using it a few times. It is still really stiff and can be hard to manage at times in the pulley system, but overall great and I feel safe using it with higher tensioned slack lines.

I've used it several times

I grabbed this rope as my work horse for TR soloing. I wanted a thicker diameter rope that would hold up well due to the fact it would be absorbing short falls while using a toothed device. (never a good idea and not recommended) It works well, and will hopefully allow me many many laps before i finally decide to retire it.
