Build faster, safer, and better anchors with the Sterling PowerCord 6mm Cordelette. asst colors

The Sterling PowerCord 6mm Cordelette links multiple pieces of protection together in seconds to create an equalized anchor without the need for any other slings. Picture it: you get to the end of a pitch, fire in two bomber stoppers and a cam, clip them all with the Sterling PowerCord 6mm Cordelette, and tie an overhand or figure-eight knot. You now have an equalized, three-piece anchor with a power point, and it only took you about a minute. The 6mm PowerCord is stronger than standard nylon, breaking at a astronomical 4800lb. Plus, this bomber anchor didn't use up precious rope that you might need on the next pitch.

Best cordelette for anchors!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

About to retire this after 5+ years of use for trad multi-pitch climbing. I am planning to buy a new one. This is always my go-to cordelette for anchors. Its light, thin and very strong. Take up noticeably less space on my rack than other ropes. It is definitely stiffer than my other anchor ropes, but it has never been an issue. Used it for quad self-equalizing anchors, figure eight pre-equalized anchors, and occasionally a sliding x without the stiffness being an issue. Highly recommend!

Excellent Cord for a Quad Anchor

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

My climbing buddy was skeptical due to its size but wow, it's incredibly strong and super stiff. It's always on my harness for anchor building. Bomber is an understatment.
