    NOT GREAT DURABILITY

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I´ve used this rope about 5 times and it looks like if the sheath is about to reveal the core of the rope. It runs super great on belay devices but would not recommend it if you plan to use it consistently.

    decent rope

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

its been pretty much everything I need in a rope, I've taken it out about 15 days out so far and have been very pleased. the two things I would say negative about it though is that it still seems pretty stiff after 15 plus days of long trad climbs and multiple sport pitches, and it collects a lot of dirt and looks very dirty. I have the 70m orange. overall solid rope though.

    Amazing thin 9.0 rope!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Love this rope! The 70M is 1.2 pounds lighter than the Sterling Aero (9.2mm) or Fusion Ion (9.4mm) according to my scale at home. Those pounds make a big difference on long, multi-hour alpine approaches. The thin diameter significantly reduces rope drag too. I originally only used this sparingly for multipitch climbs, but when a large, loose block fell on my rope and severed the sheath, I used the remaining 30M for gym climbing and whipped on this bad boy weekly for over 8 months before finally retiring it. It's more durable than you think!! Now I've got a fresh 70M bi-color and a fresh 60M bi-color ready for future adventures!
