Great Rope for a Great Value

I've put it through the wringer

I love this rope. It has served me well in both wet and dry canyons. After a decent amount of use over the course of a year, there are a few small wear spots on the sheath but nothing unexpected, and the core is still in great shape. If you are looking for a budget canyon rope, this may be the one for you. Yes, there are more durable canyon ropes on the market like the Imlay Canyon Fire, but they will also cost you more. I think this is a great first rope for beginner canyoneers looking to push their skills in the sport.

Cheap and durable

Stoked on the price of this rope and it is holding up so far after about a month of regular use.

feels great in your hand, and wallet.

I've used it several times

this is a good rope for the price. however ive done a few tricky waterfalls with this and the sheath is beginning to fray due to the rubbing over rock. i wish rope was a little more tough, but for the price its to be expected. other than that it feels great in your hands, not too thick but you can control it easily.

great rope for the price

I've used it several times

Bought this to do some rappelling with my family. Love the bright colors. It is also very static. I noticed rappelling was much fast with this rope compared to rappelling off dynamic ropes as my hands ran much hotter while rappelling. Rappelled Goblin's Lair and up American Fork Canyon and loved it. We plan to take it down to Zion National Park and do Pine Creek. It's a little heavier than the high end canyoneering ropes but you just can't beat the price. I wish Backcountry carried longer lengths in this rope.

Hi, how would this rope stand up to hauling up to 30lbs of gear?
