We sell this Stan's No Tubes Extra Valve Core because valve cores are inevitably easy to lose. The O-ring that seals the valve core inside the stem can also be damaged, causing leaks in the system. So whether you've lost yours or simply need a replacement to restore the performance of your tubeless tire system, this valve core will get the job done.

    Goodbye Clogged Valves

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

You need to have a few of these guys laying around if you are using tubeless. Eventually you are going to get a clogged valve and it takes just a few minutes to swap out the core.

Way better than a clogged valve

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Don't bother with clogged valves. Just pay for a new insert and you will be much happier. It is worth it. If you're running tubeless, you will eventually have a clogged valve.

    Do you even tubeless

If you ride a tubeless setup, you should certainly consider having at least an extra one of these that lives in your tool kit at all times! I have destroyed these with a pump or an unlucky rogue rock bounce and if it wasn't for being able to buy and have a spare core in my kit, I would have had one heck of a miserable walk out of the woods. Protect your investment and experience, buy one for yourself and your riding buddies!

      toss it in

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

it's nice to have one of these on the trail, Ive needed to loan mine out to others who have bunged up theirs pumping up their tire and being a little too rough.

You can also steel them from old tubes as well as they are universal and save some dollars. I feel for $3 it may be over priced by $2 but I would pay $20 if I needed one and didn't have one on the trail.

      Like carrying a a tube

You're valve core will fail and need to be replaced at the worst, most inconvenient time. I carry an extra in a little pouch with extra chain leak and tire boot. You can prepare to handle repairs, or prepare to walk.
