Tire Sealant
If tubeless is the new black, Stan's NoTubes Tire Sealant is a classic secret-agent tuxedo. Just pour some of this milky goo into your tubeless-compatible tires, pop them onto the bead, and spin 'em around to get an even coating that will protect you from leaks and punctures all the way up to 1/4in. It makes it safer and easier to run tubeless tires at low pressure, and can work with wheels designed to be run tubeless or wheels that have been converted to accommodate a tubeless setup. Sharp rocks, thorns, and broken glass won't ruin your ride anymore, and the ability to ride at lower pressures will increase grip when you're in slick terrain.
- Tire sealant to get tubeless tires ready to roll

- 1 quart will last through numerous tire changes
- Stan's recommends 2-4oz per tire, depending on width

The tubeless revolution is here!

This is all you need to run in your tires to keep from getting flats ever again. Accompanied by the Stans DART tool, there's pretty much no way for you to ever be left in a situation where you need to walk your bike back down to the trialhead. Buy the big bottle, and keep your sealant fresh at all times! You'll be glad you did.

Always have some of this on hand. Sealant dries out/gets nasty over time so, as a part of my monthly service, it's good to check the status of the sealant in my tires. Stan's, for me, is the only way to go.

Seals it up
- Familiarity:

What more can I say? This stuff seals it up. Works really well in my tubeless mtn bike tires, and also does a surprisingly good job in my CX tubes against goat heads here in SLC. This stuff is magic!

Great product, great value!

I use Stan’s for my road bike and mountain bike, so I bought the quart jug. It’s effective, and the quart goes a long way. All of the punctures that I’ve had on my treads have sealed, but if you slash your sidewall, nothing is going to save you. I know from experience, dude (said like Chris Farley in Billy Madison).

No More Flats
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Used this on my gravel bike and haven't had a flat since. It's super easy to install and not as messy as some other brands. A little bit goes a long way. I put 60ml in each tire and haven't had to put any more in for the two months since I went tubeless. I'm sure I'll have to soon, but this bottle will last a long time!

What More Can I Say?
- Familiarity:

Not really much more to say here, folks! When I wrote this review, there were 128 other Reviews that have given this a five star review, it's great. I've also used the Stans Race Sealant, but honestly this does the job great. Never had any really issues - anything that the normal Stans couldn't seal wouldn't be able to be sealed by the Race option either. Do yourself a favor and grab a bottle to have around, never hurts to have some spare sealant. Would recommend also grabbing a Stans Sealant injector (SNT0016) and a Park Tool Valve Core Remover (PAR0273) to make it easier.

Stan's sealant hasn't let me down yet. It's good to have a quart of Stans to replenish your sealant every few months. Works great in my mountain and gravel bike!

Back for more
- Familiarity:

I switched to orange seal for a time because i had a sidewall puncture (a sizeable gash to be clear) that dosing with stans failed to get it to seal and when dosed with orange seal it did finally close up. So I spent the next year going back and forth between both. In the end, both seem to work well in most situations. I have mutliple bikes and switch back and forth regularly (fat, plus, rigid, full squish, hardtail etc.,) so although I abuse them often, there is significant downtime periodcially on a particular bike. What I have found with tire removal, orange seal seems to leave a thick coating on the interior of the tire vs balls/lump that build up with stans (and the stans liquid evaporates away?) . Suffice to say I'd happily use either, but stans edges out of price and perhaps the tire change/cleanup...

This is Good Sealant
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This is good sealant. It does the job and the jug means you've got plenty to refresh your tires every few months. It's kind of messy to work with (but what sealant isn't?) and stains concrete and other things when spilled, but it stays fresh in tires for a decent amount of time. I wish it was a bit thicker, but Stan's Race sealant which is much thicker tends to clog up valves and sludge up in the bottle.

Stan's definitely doesn't stand out. It works for small pinhole punctures, but definitely struggles with larger holes. I love Orange Seal for that reason, but it makes a freakin' mess inside your tire. At least with Stan's there is no mess... you just pay for it with minimal puncture sealing performance.

The Good Stuff
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Stan's is just amazing. It has been years since I have had a flat. The last time a had a flat I chose a bad line while ripping through a familiar rock garden and popped my tire. Stan's was everywhere but as expected it couldn't stop the 1/2' gash in the tread. Prior to that my last flat was a pinch flat prior to going tubeless. I once was running too low of tire pressure and folded the tire in a corner pulling the bead off the rim. The gap between the bead and the rim filled with dirt. Stan's sealed it up just fine and I was able to finish the ride with a top off via a hand pump. I could not be happier with the product.

No more worrying about getting flats! I love the peace of mind when out on a big ride knowing I wont flat everytime things get a little rocky. Lasts forever in your tire so this bottle will go a long way.

The Original, The Best
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I've been riding w/Stans in my Maxxis tires for about 2 years now. With regular maintenance every 3 months or so, I've never been walking or booting a tire. I've tried another brands with no success so clearly Stans has the winning formula. I hate how messy it is when I get a huge puncture so be sure to clean your bike up as soon as you get home or it's a beast....the only reason I've given it 4 stars. Tire sealant is one of those things you only know when it DOESN'T work so it's easy to hate but I've seen it seal some very large punctures. Stans for life.
