Lighter and bigger.
For the new Red BB30 Crankset, SRAM delivers a lighter, burlier, and ultimately, more precise design. The new Red BB30 is built with Exogram technology, which lets SRAM use less material without compromising stiffness. The Red BB30 also features a larger (and much sturdier) crank arm, which allows SRAM to rotate the spider and reduce the number of spider arms to four. Not only does this result in a sleeker profile, but it also improves shifting quality and performance by reducing deflection. SRAM’s X-GlideR chainrings are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and are made to work seamlessly with the 11-speed drivetrain. SRAM also improved the ramp and pin pattern for enhanced high-torque performance and impeccable combination with the Yaw front derailleur. SRAM still uses a 130mm bolt circle diameter on the standard and 110mm on the compact crankset, which all-but guarantees compatibility with aftermarket chainrings.
- Advanced crankset sports lightweight stiffness
- Carbon fiber crank arms provide excellent power transfer
- Spider arm reduction provides a sleek profile and strong base
- Exogram hollow cross-sections provide rigidity with low weight
- X-GlideR chainring calibration improves timing for smooth shifting
- Integrated mounting bolt makes installation a breeze

So far So good
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This is going on my Allez sprint 1x crit bike that's soon to be built up. I used it for a bit on my team super 6 evo but loved it too much & want it on the bike I'll be on the most. (Training & racing) The evo is for hills & road races. As always SRAM w/SRAM works like butter. Shifting is smooth. I'll never go back to shimano.
I have a Cannondale Synapse 1 with 10 speed Dura-Ace drive, except for the Cannondale BB30 carbon crank. The current crank is a 53/39 and I want to change over to a 50/34. Will the Sram Red BB30 work with this bike and the Dura-Ace drive train? Thanks, Curt
These have the 30 diameter spindle correct? So they will work with the T47 BB?
Hey Slater, you are correct on both points. Feel free to reach out with any other questions at 801.204.4556 or email@example.com.
Hello, would you know the distance between the outer surface of the large chainring and the inner surface of the drive side crank arm? Would like to see if switching to SRAM Red 22 Crankset wold fix issue.
Hello Claude, I don't have that specific measurement off hand, but I can certainly try to help with your issue. I'm a bike expert here and can dig in further. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll help solve your problem. Thanks!
Will this crankset fit a 2016 Specialized Diverge Comp DSW?
Hey Matt, this crank will work with that bike. It should be a direct replacement for the FSA Gossamer. I realize this question has been hanging for a little while now, but email me at email@example.com if you have more questions.
Will this work with a supersix Evo that has 68mm bb shell width?
Hey Jonathan, that will work. It should be a direct replacement for the bb30 crank that is currently on the bike. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for any other questions.
