The ultimate trail guide.
The SRAM Guide line of brakes is quickly becoming the go-to choice for trail riders of all levels, known for its exceptional consistency and power. The Guide Ultimate Disc Brake Set with Centerline X Rotors sits at the top of the line, featuring carbon fiber levers, titanium hardware, and a new S4 4-piston caliper to provide some serious stopping power that can handle even the steepest, most technical terrain.
The Guide Ultimate features SRAM's SwingLink technology, which uses a special cam shape to provide an unparalleled combination of pad engagement and modulation for a smooth, quick-responding braking experience without any pesky dead spots. Pairing SwingLink with a new cup-seal timing port closure system means the modulation is on point as soon as you pull the lever for predictable functionality every time you apply the brakes. For a personalized feel, a contact point adjustment feature lets you quickly dial-in the braking to meet your preferences.
The caliper features SRAM's new 4-piston S4 design and pairs with easy to replace, top-loading, steel-backed Trail pads to achieve amazing stopping power. Unique to the Guide Ultimate system is SRAM's Bleeding Edge technology, which facilitates easy maintenance with a new, user-friendly bleed porting and fluid path. You'll spend less time spilling hydraulic fluid in the garage and more time out ripping up the trails.
To complete the system, the SRAM Guide Ultimate Disc Brake Set includes Centerline X Rotors with venting lines in the braking track to reduce overheating and increase braking consistency compared to non-vented rotors. These rotors also feature a 12-spoke design that reduces lateral bending or warping under heat stress for a stable, predictable, smooth braking experience every time you pull the lever.

- Q & A
Awesome brakes! Great modulation
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
If they're good enough for Nino, they're good enough for me! Just for clarification, SRAM does not make a Centerline X rotor in 200mm, so the 200 variant ships with normal centerline brakes. Please shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions!
