Keeps the dings out of the things

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Do you have carbon cranks and are they SRAM or Truvativ then you need these. Seriously you just dropped some serious cash on your new ride or a new carbon crank why not protect it. Let's face it sooner or later you, me everyone who rides is going to pedal strike at some moment when they ride. Protect your new cranks with these plastic crank boots and you won't regret it.

The fit could be a bit better (I used on Truvativ) but the pedal is installed and my cranks protected! Job Well Done!

    Simple Must Have

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

A simple must have for anyone riding SRAM Eagle carbon cranks. These boots keep your crank protected from rocks and other sharp and large objects.

    The Best Kind of Protection

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are a no-brainer, ask yourself two questions.
ONE: Do you own a sweet set of SRAM Eagle carbon cranks?
TWO: Do you care at all about your bike?
Hopefully the answer to both is yes. Then you should proceed to buy these and take two minutes to install them on your bike and voila!
Your cranks will be grateful to you as you pedal them into rocks, roots, and other such carbon destroying trail features. It boggles my mind that most manufacturers don't just include these with their $6k+ bikes, but whatever.
Best $11 you are going to spend on your bike.

These boots are made for cranking

If you're going to be spending your hard earned money on a nice new set of cranks from Sram, do yourself a favor and keep them looking new with these boots. They are a hard plastic that give you that little bit of extra protection when you're smashing pedals at speed. Buy some boots, your cranks deserve it.

Your crankset will be happy with these!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The fit isn't totally precise, I run a SRAM X01 Eagle Crankset and the pedal hole in these protective boots does not quite line up with the pedal hole in the SRAM cranks. However, they do the job designed for just fine.

Don't leave the house without your boots

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you have been riding bikes for any amount of time, you know that the crank ends get dinged on occasion. With the lower BB heights of todays bikes I wouldn't ride my bike without these. They will keep the crank ends looking nice and are cheap and easily replaced.
