Great goggles!

I gave these to my boyfriend as a gift and he loves them. He likes how they came with an extra lens to swap out. The only downside is that it is not the easiest to swap out the lenses. Other than that he is stoked on them!

Better Than Oakleys

The best goggles i have ever owned were my Oakleys until i got these. Unlike like electric and other "cool" brands these spy google actually perform like top quality equipment as well as look cool. I have a smaller face and these fit well, no air coming form the nose or cheek like my last pair of Scotts did. The peripheral vision radius is amazing, i never see the edges of the googles. Super easy to switch out the free orange lens that was included on snowy days. Grip my helmet great, never slide. Absolutely no fog even when i intentionally fog them up, the are clean in seconds just standing outside in a snow storm. The free head cover/face mask is awesome and only made me love SPY more. I debated between about 20 different pairs of googles and 6 different manufactures and am very happy i settled on these bay boys.

I like the goggles especially for the price, however they are BIG. To big for my face, and I found them crushing my nose and making me look silly. I ended up finding the Spy Platoon to be a better fit with a better lens.

These are really nice goggles. They don't fog and feel nice. I would defs recommend these for someone with a larger face though, I have a smaller head and face and they are too big as they squeeze down on my nose making it hard to breathe. And the lens is kinda shitty to change.

Awesome Performance, Great Value

So with I got these acouple of weeks go with some awesome guidance. Thanks Backcountry!! I have been riding abunch now with these goggles and swapping lens back an forth, I got the blue with the amber bonus lens. By far the amber is the best all around in the sun or in the trees great contrast. Even though the blue is cooler looking I didn't like them coming in and out of the trees not enough contrast. I do think they would be great in the open backcountry but haven't made it out there yet. oh awesome wide field of view and the venting is great.

Here was the best I could find, as SPY doesn't actually seem to have a chart provided for their VLT lens ranges for any goggle line, or if they do, I cannot seem to use the right search criteria and/or terminology to find that shizzle anywhere. All that notwithstanding, here we go: -Bronze w/ Silver Mirror (VLT 12.6%) -Pink Contact (VLT 22.5%) -Persimmon (VLT 53.1%) -Yellow Contact (VLT 54%) -Yellow (VLT 66.6%) -Clear (VLT 81%) -Yellow w/ Green Spectra (VLT 49.5%) -Bronze w/ Red Spectra (VLT 19.8%) -Bronze w/ Green Spectra (VLT 19.8%) - Bronze w/ Gold Mirror ( VLT 19.9%) -Bronze (VLT 24.3%) -Persimmon Contact (VLT 43.2%) -Blue Contact (VLT 45%) Found those here [http://search.spyoptic.com/search?p=Q&lbc=spyoptic&uid=882744769&ts=custom&w=Lens%20Vlt&isort=score&method=and&view=list&sli_jump=1&modaf=r:style:raiderreplacementlens] However, found this other set of VLT percentages [http://www.evo.com/spy-goggle-lens-color-tint-guide.aspx] that you should check out as well. Most of the numbers seem to match, or at least fall within a few percentage points of each other, but at other times, there are large discrepancies. I would try and cross reference those two against looking up the specific lens you want if you're that concerned. Hope this helps.

NOOOO, you need to look for MX googles. These will be way too big, and way too hot. Plus you'll probably want a clear lens and even if not these lenses will be too dark.
