- Q & A
these are amazing and comfortable.
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I have Sorel (Joan of Arctic) and Bogs, however, I got these to see if I could find better traction where I have slipped on ice in the others here in the NE. I have knee injuries in both knees that cause me to need stability. The Sorel's are great in extreme cold when you need to be out all day (Like when we went dog sledding in Quebec), and Bogs are great in slush for waterproof qualities (when mucking stalls). The Sperry's are easy on and off, low calf height. (My Sorrell's I need to struggle to get them off, and bogs too, they get caught on my muscly calfs. The Sperry's are great on every level, a bit low for high amounts of snow but serve their purpose well. Awesome traction. They are comfortable like snow clogs only heaps better!
I loved these boots and so wanted them to work out! But...I have a narrow foot and narrow heel...so...no matter how I tightened them around the ankle, I couldn't keep the heel rub from pulling my socks down...and I hate that! But, otherwise I loved them and am sad to have to return them.
