As awesome as Speedplay Pedals are, they work best well-lubed and free from road dirt and debris. Speedplay SP-Lube keeps your Speedplay Cleat/Pedal system running smoothly with its bonding lubrication formula that goes on wet and dries instantly. Unlike grease and other petroleum-based lubricants, this formula won't attract dirt and gunk build-up. In fact, it keeps your cleats engaging nice and smooth over time, especially in foul weather conditions.
- For use with Speedplay Cleat/Pedal interface

Good stuff, helps to keep your Speedplay engagement, smooth, quiet, and trouble free. Must have item for Speedplay users, didn't know I needed it until I tried it.

Don't be "that guy" on the ride
Use this lube to quiet down those squeaky pedals and save yourself the embarrassment of creaking everywhere you go.

I should have been using this all along
This is one of those items you don't think of but then when you use it and have it around you wonder why. Keeps my speedplay running smooth and quite, a little maintenance goes a long way believe me.

Last season I was stuck on the road without this lube. After about 100kms in pouring rain, my cleats and pedals seized up and it was extremely difficult to clip in and out. The next day we had another 100+km ride and after a bit of lube, clipping in and out was a breeze. Since then, in questionable weather I will never ride without some lube in my back pocket. It's one of the drawbacks of using the awesome speedplay cleat/pedal system, but still worth it!

Speedplay pedal lube.
This lubricant is so important and helpful in keeping the pedals on your shoes working properly and safely. When clipping in your pedals to your bike, remember, you are using a mechanical device with a spring, which wears and dries out after use. If the locks on the cleats of your shoes dry out they won't latch on to the pedals properly and worse yet, if they don't latch on properly, they can pop off the pedal when riding! So, lubricate your pedals, often!
