500m through MI in 1 wk - No flats
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I used these (size 38 on 700s) on a bike packing trip this past week through Michigan. 90% road, 10% gravel and single track. These tires worked extremely well. Zero flats even using various pressures on my 65-70lb loaded bike. Unnoticeable resistance on pavement. I kept up with others on urban tires without any issue. When we hit sand or small gravel patches, you could feel the tire slide slightly to the left or right before grabbing and keeping you upright, doing exactly what you would expect from this style tire. I highly recommend these. If you are bike packing, I recommend going with the high viz models that they offer. That’s the only change I’d make. I will be using these for BWR gravel race this October.

6500 miles and not one flat
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 38x700
- Height:

- Weight:
- 202
I ride primarily road with my Specialized Creo SL pedalec. The tire (38x700) is fast on the road and, because the streets in my neck of the woods are noted for their holes, cracks and rough roads, they are perfect for comfort, safety and speed. Taking turns fast is not an issue at all. I ride them tubeless with sealant. When I first got my Creo SL I ordered road tires (28x700) but, by the time I received them, I decided these tires are what I prefer for my riding conditions. I just replaced the rear tire after 6500 miles with my front tire still showing the Specialized "S" being visible, so there's plenty of miles left in them. I highly recommend these tires if you mostly ride road.

Put these on my gravel bike (700x38) for the BWR San Diego- lots of sand. Plenty of others flatted, had tears, these were great. In fact, no flats at all, ran with tubes at ~50-55 psi. Road was good as well, roll resistance was pretty low.

Fast Rolling Gravel Tire
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 700c x 42 mm
This is a great tire if you are mixing 50% road/50% light gravel. I rode them on through ride of the Great Allegheny Passage which is mostly compressed limestone. Great tire. I went up to the 42mm from the 38mm and it provides a bit more traction and a smoother ride. They do slip when things get wet though.
